The Pitching staff in Detroit is just too good! Boston spent a lot of money so they'll be fine. The A's have Brad Pitt and Jonah so you can't go wrong there.
Average Bro:
I don't know why I feel so good about the Rays. I don't like them much at all. But they just kinda do things well enough to win every year. Tigers and Rangers are just going to beat up on each other all year because they hate each other all of a sudden. Perfect chance for the Yankees to slip right in!
THE James:
It's hard to go against what New York did in the off season. Add that to the departures in Boston, along with their questions in the outfield and you get the Yanks taking the East.
Sports Pro:
Like Boston, the Dodgers have spent a butt ton of money, so I like where things are going for them. Cards and Braves are always knocking on the door. The Cubs just got their new teddy bear mascot so I think that should somehow break the curse...right?
Average Bro:
I like the Reds a lot. Everyone's on that Pittsburgh bandwagon, but let me tell you something. That band wagon ain't going nowhere! I hear they even had to cancel the band and got a DJ instead...LAME! I think the Nats are good enough but they're cursed ever since they held back Strasburg 2 years ago and blew their last chance.
THE James:
Nothing too exciting in the NL. With a healthy Matt Harvey the Mets could have made some noise. The Dodgers have the highest payroll, but I could see them being the Knicks of Major League Baseball.

An old school big city rivalry. Yankees sneak through and give Jeter his last shot at a ring. They have the advantage in game 6, but blow it all when the ball goes right through the Captain's legs Buckner style.

In a poll recently made up by me, opposing players voted Detroit as their second least favorite place to play (behind Cleveland of course). The nationals won't be able to leave fast enough, even if that means throwing a couple games of the World Series.
